Hardy Kiwi is a deciduous, fruit producing plant (vine), indigenous to Korea, Northern China, and Siberia. It is a member of the Actinidiaceae family.
Hardy Kiwi is a green to purple skinned fruit, also known as Baby Kiwi and Kiwi Berry. Fruit is about 2.5cm long, much like a miniature kiwi in appearance and with a very similar flavor but a great deal sweeter. The fruit could be eaten whole. The trunk of the vine has catnip like scent.
Hardy Kiwi is little known fruit bearing plant (vine) but its fruit is destined to turn popular as commercial production is commencing. Hardy Kiwi or Baby Kiwi is a very hardy, fast-growing, climbing vine and can survive slow winder temperature falls below -30 oC.
